Welcome to Alma Lee Charters, where you will experience the best that the Chesapeake Bay area has to offer. Our motto is "a better fishing experience". The Alma Lee is one of only a few charter-fishing boats along the Rappahannock River capable of carrying large groups for bottom fishing. Whether you are a corporate outing, a family get-together, or a group of friends looking to spend a day on the water, the goal is to provide you with a successful and fun-filled day at a fair price. 

For 2012, we have added another vessel to our fleet. With the addition of this boat, our motto should be "the best fishing experience". The Bird-Dog II is a 36 foot Twin Vee Pilothouse catamaran that will be used for most all Rockfishing charters in the spring, fall, and winter to include trolling, jigging, and eeling. The Bird-Dog II will also be targeting species such as flounder, cobia, drum, and spadefish on light tackle during the summer months in the lower part of the bay, along the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel complex, and Virginia's Eastern Shore. A select number of anglers may even wish to participate in venturing offshore for some deep-drop and wreck fishing action. This 500 horsepower fishing machine can get to the fish fast, allowing for maximum fishing time.

Reservations for weekends and holidays fill up first, although weekdays may provide better fishing if you have the flexibility.
